Sympho Kids
Atelierele Sympho Kids reprezintă componenta educativă a Stagiunii SalutCULTURA! and open the way to the magic of musical instruments. Children learn about the orchestra, instruments, the conductor and his role, the description of specific performance techniques, and will watch the thematic presentation of works specific to the era. Through the SalutCULTURA! project, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra patiently and persistently develops the fundamental musical values that characterize developed societies. The Sympho Kids workshops include interactive presentations designed to capture children's curiosity about musical instruments and awaken their interest in classical music.
Programele Sympho Kids are tailored to each age group and were designed as an informational and educational supplement to school curricula. In addition to musical training, Sympho Kids workshops offer a unique experience to participating students.
The concert hall and its duration may seem "unfriendly" to students, which is why Sympho Kids communicates using accessible language, in an interactive and intelligent way. Music reaches the little ones, giving them the opportunity to be introduced to the world of music for an hour by a storyteller playing the role of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Wearing interesting costumes specific to the era in which he lived and very attractive to students, Mozart introduces children to instruments and their history, the orchestra and the conductor, as well as the Baroque period, addressing famous excerpts from Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. The children not only have the opportunity to listen to a professional orchestra, but also to learn about the roles of the musicians, are introduced to music theory and music history, and watch video projections from Cremona, the city where the most famous violin makers, such as Stradivarius, Amati, and Guarnieri, and Venice, the city where an orchestra was first documented.
Playing the role of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and dressed in period costume, an actor hosts the presentations and facilitates communication between the audience and the orchestra, asking questions and explaining the images shown on the projector.
The presenter captivates the audience's attention and constantly develops the dialogue, seeking to attract children's interest in music by stimulating their curiosity and thirst for knowledge, with the aim of bringing out their unsuspected artistic talents.
"The dynamism and charm of the actor playing Mozart fascinate children through interactive games and information about music that they receive throughout the workshop."

Beyond the importance of this project in terms of children's musical education, it is well known that music has amazing benefits for the human brain. Composed by geniuses and performed by virtuosos, classical music is one of the most complex things the human ear can perceive. In order to attract children's interest in music by stimulating their curiosity, all presentations will be held in costumes specific to the periods presented. The concerts are educational and interactive and are aimed at children in grades III and IV. Thus, education through music becomes attractive to young audiences.
Cu răbdare şi perseverenţă, Stagiunea SalutCULTURA! dezvoltă valorile muzicale fundamentale care caracterizează societăţile evoluate.
